      <description>KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Oct. 16) - Western Michigan moved a step closer to a league title with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Central Michigan in the home finale at the WMU Soccer Complex.  The victory improved WMU's record to 7-1 in the Mid-American Conference, solidifying the Broncos' hold on first place with three games remaining.</description>

      <description>Kalamazoo, MI – In front of 2,520 fans the Western Michigan University Broncos dropped their season and home opener to Robert Morris University in a disappointing 5-2 loss at Lawson Ice Arena.  The game was a close contest through the first two periods before the Colonials broke it open in the third period.</description>
