PHOTO GALLERY: IDAHO @ BSU

The Idaho Vandals played BSU under cold and sunny skies for the 39th game in the rivalry football series. The Vandals had more total yards, first downs, and led in time of possession. But 5 interceptions and 2 fumbles were too costly for the Vandals. One highlight for the Vandals was the powerful running play by DEMAUNDRAY WOOLRIGDE, who carried the rock 24 times for 143 yards and 2 TDs.

The University of Idaho continues to work on the upgrades to the west wall of the ASUI/Kibbie Dome. GoVandals.Net stopped by the area on Sunday, November 8th, to capture these images of the new egress/stairway/exits and the new egress walkways. A new bridge that will be strong enough for fire equipment was recently completed and landscaping and concrete forming is currently underway.

Vandals fall to Fresno State 31-21

The Vandals (7-3, 4-2 WAC) struggled early Saturday night against Fresno State (6-3, 5-1 WAC), falling behind 24-0 at the half. But the offense, led by sophomore quarterback BRIAN READER starting in place of injured Nathan Enderle, awoke in the second half while the Vandal defense stiffened (yielding just one TD in the final three quarters). This week, however, Idaho's rally would fall short.

Idaho's women's volleyball team defeated the NMSU Aggies in the Memorial Gym during homecoming weekend. Although the school refuses to energize all of the new energy-saving lights, GoVandals.Net was there to capture these images under insufficient lighting. Please accept our apologies for the "grain" in the images. But, this match was our only real chance to catch the Vandals this season.

Post-Game: Akey on Idaho's win over Hawaii

“6-and-1 means an awful lot. It means these guys have come a long ways. It means they’ve done a lot of things that a lot of people in the outside world told them they couldn’t do. It means that they’re another step closer to some of the goals that we’ve set for ourselves. What I appreciate is that they’ve continued to work their tails off the entire time that we’ve been together."
