Opposition Danger Men: Ole Miss & Austin Peay

Before previewing the Vanderbilt games this fall it is worth taking a look at the player who will be the main threat to the 'Dores in each of their games. These players are the ones who can take over on a Saturday if they are not properly game planned for and each has the potential to be a real thorn in the side of the Commodores when game time rolls around.

More Vanderbilt players get NFL shot

Last time we looked at the draft aftermath for the Commodores two drafted players. Both Zac Stacy and Ryan Seymour will go into camp with their new teams looking to show enough talent to (at worst) be stashed away on the practice squad to learn the game at the NFL level. They will not be the only former black and gold players trying to fight their way onto an NFL squad in 2013.

NFL Draft Results Vanderbilt Style

Last week we looked at some projections for Vanderbilt's draft eligible seniors and took a stab at where they would be drafted. It turns out that the Draft was as volatile as ever and though projections were on the money for a couple of Commodores, there were still surprises when it came to the NFL futures of some now former Vandy players. Here is a look at what went down over the weekend.

NFL Draft: Vanderbilt Prospects Part I

With the lack of an Andrew Luck or RG3 at the top of the NFL Draft this year, the event has snuck up much more quietly than usual. With the top ten picks expected to involve few (if any) skill position players it looks like it is going to be a year for the big uglies in the trenches to make some money.
