Press Conference Video: Doc Sadler

From last year's season to the road trip down to the Bahamas - back to Lincoln. An interesting road, but the hope is that each has given this Husker team something it can use going into this year. One thing Doc Sadler noticed about his team which he talked about today was that they are all actually here. He talked about that and more in today's P.C.

Not There Right Now

Friday marks the beginning of the 2009-10 Nebraska basketball season as the Huskers take on Arkansas-Fort Smith in an exhibition. Nebraska returns four players from the team last year, but the focus for this year’s squad will be on the many new faces.

Looming Large: Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson was signed by the Atlanta Hawks in 2005 for a 5-year, $70 million deal. At the time the contract was much criticized, especially by some members of Atlanta's front office. While Johnson hasn't delivered much team success for Atlanta, he has validated his contract and has performed at an all-star level for the Hawks over the past three years.

Game Preview: Magic vs Hawks

Orlando matches up poorly with Atlanta, but the Hawks haven’t played well of late. Look for the Magic to squeak out a very close game.

Effort meets hope, shooting doesn't

Doc Sadler is an effort kind of guy. He doesn't necessarily care where you are going, just so long as you are getting there full speed. Thus far during this early part of the season, that part has been satisfactory. Now the team just needs to score. Coach Sadler talked about that, his team and the upcoming schedule in this press conference video from today.

It's Basketball Time Again

One year in the books and Nebraska Men's Basketball Head Coach Doc Sadler hopes that the second year goes better than the first. It wasn't like year one was a disaster, but beginnings are always a little interesting for everyone involved. This is almost a completely different team now, but Coach Sadler sees that as a good thing. He's one step closer to the goal.
