Tuesday Practice Spotlight

SEATTLE - I have to admit - after covering practices at Washington for a dozen years, there's little I haven't seen. Until today. It was entertaining, if nothing else.

SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies suffered more attrition Thursday as two offensive players - walk-on running back Willis Wilson and H-Back/TE Josh Perkins were dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules, the school announced via email.
Practice Spotlight - Day Five

SEATTLE - Steve Sarkisian asked his offense to step up after a somewhat lackluster Monday morning practice session, and they delivered. Fueled by the play of Bishop Sankey and Dezden Petty, the offense bit back, taking it to the defense during third down and short yardage periods on Wednesday, and responded well when the defense did manage to break through with a good play or two.

Chris Polk wasn't suited up for practice, instead walking around in sweats, throwing footballs around and watching. It didn't look as if anything was wrong with him physically, at least until Sarkisian told the assembled press afterward he had his knee scoped earlier in the day.
