      <title>Ex-Gopher Damien White killed in Los Angeles</title>
      <description>Damien White, a Minnesota wide receiver who signed with the Gophers in February of 2007 but left the program last season, was shot to death early Sunday morning in South Los Angeles. Officers found the body of 19-year-old Damien White in his car. Officers said the wide receiver was shot in the head shortly after 1 a.m. after he left a party. GoldenSports.Net expresses our prayers for the family.</description>
