      <description>Justin Springer, from Los Fresnos, Texas, inked with the Jayhawks today.  Springer was selected as second team All-State in 5A in Texas as a senior. He collected 154 tackles, seven sacks, five forced fumbles and three interceptions. Springer was also selected All-Metro co-defensive MVP and recorded 17 tackles in his last game at Los Fresnos, a play-off loss to Texas 5A runner-up Austin Westlake.</description>
