Power Surge in Pullman Propels Card to Win

Stanford has yet to win a Pac-10 series in five tries this season. The simplest failing for the last-place Cardinal has been their inability to win a series opener. But the Bruins had already built a massive lead and held on for the 16-11 victory, their second straight of the series. Stanford's pitchers were skewered, while the umpires added controversy early and late.
