A new horizon for Comer

BYU’s secondary is thin. And with the sad and unexpected season-ending injury to Trent Trammell, along with Mike Hague now being banged up, the urgency for someone to step up and compete at the boundary position has become ever so apparent. One player has answered the call, and he’s going to make the most of it.

Comer Covering Both Sides

He goes from one side of the field to the other and then back again. Playing on the second team defense, Cameron Comer has quietly and steadily held his own while being tested at both the boundary and field cornerback positions by Coach Howell throughout spring camp.

SEATTLE - The Scout.com Northwest Hot 100 can now be put to bed for the class of 2008.
Comer on the Rise

Springville High School cornerback Cameron Comer has been working hard with a personal trainer during the off-season. He is also running track in an effort to improve his already good speed. Comer has great size for a cornerback, so anything he can do to develop his other skills will bring him even more recruiting attention than he is currently receiving.
