      <description>IRVING, Texas – A total of 13 Marshall  University football players received All-Conference USA honors from the league's coaches Tuesday as junior Albert McClellan was voted to the first-team and seniors Brian Leggett, Darius Passmore, C.J. Spillman and Maurice Kitchens were voted to the second team along with sophomore running back Darius Marshall. Three  others were named Honorable Mention.</description>

Marshall ran, passed, kicked and defended Southern Miss better than ever before, resulting in a 34-27 win, where the Golden Eagles had won nine straight C-USA openers at "The Rock."</description>

      <description>Marshall's 109th fall football camp comes to an end on Friday afternoon with a "dress rehearsal," scripted walk-through for game day including the "Thunderwalk" from the Cam Henderson Center to the Joan C.       <description>Coach Mark Snyder often tells the media that practice is scripted to allow either the offense or the defense to win a practice by the plays put in or the "tools" players are allowed to use. On Wednesday morning, however, it looked like except for one trick play long touchdown, the defense was the unit who had skipped breakfast and ate up the offense all morning in the second two-a-day workday.</description>
