Report Card: Army vs. Temple

The Army Black Knights allowed four consecutive touchdowns in second half to blow a 15-point lead in a 42-35 loss to the Temple Owls. Army appeared to have been fortunate that Temple's super sophomore halfback Bernard Pierce wasn't able to play. It didn't matter as his backup Matt Brown rushed for 226 and four touchdowns. The disappointing loss drops the Black Knights record to 3-2.

Army Spring Practice Recap - Defense part I

ArmySports.com now takes a look at the other side of the ball. The defense is the strength of the Army football team. It will probably have to carry the offense if Army plans to make its first bowl appearance since 1996.
Army Spring Practice: The Defense

After reporting on Army’s offense, ArmySports.com now takes a look at the defense after the first week of spring practice. Last year the Army Black Knights took to the Double Eagle Flex defense like a duck takes to water. It was the perfect match of a scheme and returning talent, especially in the front seven, that had the ability to attack and swarm.
