From safety to linebacker, back to safety. It would seem that safety is where junior Major Culbert belongs. He wouldn't argue that point either. It's a position he's wanted to play, but it's even better nowadays, because the system is different and each member of the secondary feels like it's time to play. For Major Culbert, his biggest struggle might have been figuring out just what position he'd eventually play. But the freshman now finds himself back on defense, and it's all good to him. Of course, the 2,000-plus yards he ran for as a senior in high school showed just how good of a runner he was. But that wasn't his one true love when it come to position. Hard to blame them as he ran for over 2,000 yards as a senior. But he came to Nebraska as a safety. With the recent move to running back, Culbert now looks at potentially playing what he did mostly at the prep level. Is that a good thing?
