      <title>Reds Sign Veteran Outfielder</title>
      <description>In search of outfield depth the Cincinnati Reds purchased the contract Joey Gathright from the Bridgeport Bluefish of the independent Atlantic League.  In his first game at Louisville last night he reached base safely in both of his plate appearances.  The 31 year-old MLB veteran has played with four teams since breaking in with the Devil Rays in 2004.</description>
