The Seattle Seahawks signed linebacker Heath Farwell following a workout, cutting running back Allen Bradford to create room for him.

A former USC player, Bradford was claimed off waivers last week from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Drafted in the sixth round out of USC, Bradford is a 5-foot-11, 242-pounder who played for Seahawks coach Pete Carroll for the Trojans.</description>
