Catron Makes A Request

If it works for football so it should do the same for basketball. At least that is what senior post man Joevan Catron believes. Catron is making his final home appearance as an Oregon Duck on Saturday against Stanford in Matt Court and has asked fans to turn out wearing white.

Photos from the UOvWSU game

The Ducks went cold and couldn't buy a break against the tough defense of Washington State Saturday night. The 62-53 loss puts the Ducks squarely on "the bubble" for the NCAA tournament. Were they robbed by the refs? More likely it was shooting 4-17 from the arc, but the boys in black and white didn't do the Ducks any favors.

Fifth Spot Could Be A Combination

The Oregon Ducks are headed into the 2007-08 season feeling very good about themselves. After all they took everyone by surprise last year by winning the Pac-10 Tournament, then making a bold statement by making it to the Elite-8 in the NCAA March Madness. The only drawback this year is that Oregon will be shy one No. 1, Aaron Brooks, who has taken his skills to the NBA.
