Adeniji, Kristick, Peat find NFL homes

THREE BEAVERS SIGNED undrafted free agent contracts and will get a shot at the NFL -- WR Damola Adeniji, LB Keaton Kristick and OL Gregg Peat, and two moves came with surprises. With Kristick, many thought an NFL team might get themselves a steal with a 6-7th round draft pick. As for Adeniji, no one was talking about the NFL a year ago -- after all, he was a walk-on with one career catch.

Sizing up the Beavs in the NFL Draft mix

THE NFL DRAFT got underway Thursday and here's one for the books -- Idaho had more picks (1) in the first round than did USC (0). Oregon State and Oregon had no players selected, but that figures to change this weekend. QB Sean Canfield and LB Keaton Kristick are generally regarded by the cyberspace draft gurus as OSU's top NFL prospects. But could other Beavs jump up into the NFL draft mix?

Raiders Draft Outlook: Quarterback

WTS: Bowl win streak blasted away

BLOWN, SWEPT or any other synonym associated with wind were the words of choice for most of the media covering the Las Vegas Bowl. Oregon State writers wondered why the weather affected the Beavers so much more than BYU while reporters from Utah reveled in the Cougars dominating victory. Here's what the Oregon, Utah, Nevada and national media had to say about BYU's 44-20 win over OSU.
