      <title>Brian Cushing out for season with torn ACL</title>
      <description>Houston Texans star linebacker Brian Cushing is out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, coach Gary Kubiak announced today.

Cushing will have surgery to repair the damage in two to three weeks after the swelling subsides.

"Big blow to our team," Kubiak told Houston reporters. "You feel bad for Brian because he works so hard and was playing so well."
