      <description>NASHVILLE – Senior wing Shan Foster became the fourth Vanderbilt player and the second consecutive Commodore to win the SEC Player of the Year Award in a vote done by the league’s 12 coaches.  Foster joins last year’s winner, Derrick Byars, Dan Langhi in 2000, and Will Perdue in 1988 as the only Vanderbilt players to capture the award since its inception in 1987.</description>
