COLLIN HENDERSON was so confident the play would work, he told TV color commentator and former Cougar quarterback Clete Casper not only that it was coming, but when it was coming. Mike Bush was just worried about selling the block that would allow him to spring free and turn the call into paydirt.

How is the o-line playing really?

But there’s something not to be overlooked in considering that battle in the trenches… For clarity, we went to a Cougar quarterback with years of first hand-knowledge who took in a fall camp scrimmage and practice.

CF.C AT 10: Key Cougs shaped our decade

FROM AUGUST 15, 1998 -- the day Cougfan.com first hit the Web -- through today, our 10th anniversary, the Cougars have played more than 100 football games. We’ve watched, written about and talked about every one of them. We’ve covered close to every spring practice and August workout. We formed opinions, and welcomed a good debate about right calls and wrong ones, this player vs. that one.

JASON GESSER IS no longer the Hurlin’ Hawaiian. Call him The Juggler. He’s a pro quarterback. A high school offensive coordinator. An analyst for Fox Sports Northwest.
