Louisville Wins in 9th

Pedro Villarreal is getting off to a solid start in his second AAA season. Since coming into their organization he’s developed a strong slider while overcoming control issues.
Pensacola Gets Walkoff Walk

Coming into the season Villarreal was not on any lists of top Reds prospects, but after three starts he looks like he’s going to make a case to change that. He has yet to give up more than one run in a game this season and his ERA is now 1.53. He struck out 17 in 17 2/3 IP while only allowing 3 BB. His WHIP right now is 0.962.
