      <description>Rockdale County lineman Jerry Mathis made the short trip to Atlanta today for Georgia Tech’s Saturday scrimmage at Bobby Dodd Stadium.  Jerry has been following Georgia Tech since he attended  their camp in June.  Mathis met with Coach Joe Speed  after the scrimmage and was told some news that he felt was the beginning of something very good.
