Nothing changes

One interesting recruiting story for Husker fans to pay attention to is that of Max Pirman. Fearful of a the coaching staff changing at Indiana he decommitted from the Hoosiers and committed to the Huskers. Now, IU has named a new coach. Could it be just a matter of time before IU is knocking on his door again and should Nebraska be concerned?

NU gets big commitment

Out of respect for the Indiana coaching staff, Max Pirman didn’t go public when he spoke with Big Red Report earlier tonight. He knew how to do it the right way and said that it was necessary to talk to Indiana before going public. After Pirman spoke to Indiana he called Big Red Report back and said that the news is that he is now a Husker.

Visit really opened Pirman’s eyes

The Huskers have a way of cranking it up in the area that recruits in the stand might be paying the closest attention. This past weekend against Kansas the Huskers had sick sacks and had a good pass rush all night. The performance of the Blackshirts, and a lot of other things, caught the eye of Max Pirman.

Set to see Nebraska

Yet another home game brings another opportunity to bring in some recruits and with some names coming off of the board at the defensive end position it’s not a shock to see a defensive end coming in. Max Pirman is a solid hybrid type who the Huskers will try to impress this weekend. They will need to, because in order to get a commit from this one, he has to decommit from where he's going now.

Pirman blowing up. Gets offer from NU

When the decision was made to commit to Indiana, it was made with the clear idea that this place was a good fit, and it came at a time where it felt necessary to do so. A lot has changed for Max Pirman since then, as this multi-position standout has blown up, as they say. So, how does that affect his commitment to Indiana?
