<title>Illini Look For Encore From Jay Prosch</title>
<description>All Fighting Illini fans remember the Northwestern game at Wrigley Field last year. Everything fell into place, and the Illini ground game dominated. Leading the way for Mikel Leshoure's record-breaking day was fullback Jay Prosch. That game made the nation aware of the Alabama freshman. With the 2011 Northwestern game looming, Prosch is hopeful for another top performance.

<title>The Agony And Ecstasy Of Jay Prosch</title>
<description>The Fighting Illini football team benefitted from several freshmen last fall. Possibly most impressive was Jay Prosch's blocking for star running back Mikel Leshoure. The rookie missed a week of spring practice to support his sick mother in Alabama, but he returned in time to make a big impression with his running ability. His future is unlimited.

<title>Prosch Developing Rapidly As Illini Fullback</title>
<description>It is always a mistake to pass judgment on an athlete based on one or two viewings. After all, he may be playing the best games of his life, or he may be in a down cycle. Maybe he is playing out of position or is a late bloomer. Illini freshman fullback Jay Prosch got minimal recruiting interest out of high school, but he played a major role against Northwestern.

<title>Jay Prosch Takes Starting Role In Stride</title>
<description>The Fighting Illini football team always plays freshmen who are ready for the rigors of big-time college football. There were several rookies who distinguished themselves in fall drills, and four played against Missouri in the season opener. Perhaps the least heralded 2010 recruit was Alabama fullback Jay Prosch, but he started for the Illini offense.

<title>Jay Prosch To Add Depth At Fullback</title>
<description>Fullbacks are hard to find. Many schools employ spread offenses or one-back attacks where there is no fullback. Many fullbacks are moved there from other positions as they are used primarily as blockers. Illinois has a need for fullbacks as it is switching to an offense that uses them. One they plan to sign Wednesday is Jay Prosch out of Mobile, Alabama.</description>
