      <description>Peoria, AZ: The San Diego Padres Double-A squad was pummeled 8-3 as normally stellar pitchers were getting hit hard. Only one hit produced runs. Staying behind from Tucson, Cesar Carrillo and John Garland threw bullpens on a day that saw very little outdoor activity outside of the game. The High-A saw some quality pitching on the road.</description>
