      <title>Vandals fall at Utah State in OT</title>
      <description>POST FALLS (IDA.) STANDOUT CONNOR HILL LED IDAHO with 18 points against Utah State on Saturday night, but the effort wasn't enough to deliver the win for Idaho, as the Vandals dropped a hard fought road game 82-75 to Utah State.  Senior center Kyle Barone and senior guard Mike McChristian each notched double-doubles, but the Vandals could not hold onto an 8 point lead with 3:38 left in regulation.</description>

      <title>Idaho wins second road game, tops SJSU 64-55</title>
      <description>THE VANDAL FRONT COURT OF STEPHEN MADISON AND KYLE BARONE, COUPLED WITH WING MIKE MCCHRISTIAN, proved too much for the Spartans Thursday night as the trio led Idaho (6-6, 2-0 WAC) to a 64-55 road win over San Jose State (7-6, 2-1 WAC).  Barone led Idaho with 16 points and 13 rebounds, followed by Madison with 15 points, and McChristian with 10 points.  Next up Idaho heads to Utah State Saturday.</description>

      <description>ON TUESDAY NIGHT IN THE COWAN SPECTRUM the Idaho Vandals overcame a 17-point first half deficit to register a final 70-69 win over Seattle U on DEREMY GEIGER'S clutch 3-point shot with just over a minute remaining in the game.  The remarkable comeback was the largest of the Don Verlin era, and gives Idaho a 13-11, 5-4 WAC season mark heading into Thursday's home game with New Mexico State at 8pm.</description>

      <description>IDAHO HAS A RARE THREE GAME HOME STRETCH this week, starting with Tuesday night's matchup with Seattle U in the Cowan Spectrum.  Idaho (12-11, 5-4 WAC) beat Seattle U (6-13) by a final score of 73-62 in Seattle early this year, and is going for the season sweep.  On Thursday Idaho hosts New Mexico State (17-7, 6-2 WAC), and then on Saturday Louisiana Tech (11-12, 3-5 WAC) visits Moscow.</description>

      <description>THE VANDALS WENT ON A 10-0 RUN to start the second half before beating Nevada a 72-68 on the road.  The UI win broke Nevada's 16-game winning streak and handed the Wolf Pack (19-4, 8-1 WAC) their first WAC loss.  Idaho (12-11, 5-4 WAC) -- the WAC's top 3-point shooting team -- hit 52% from the floor and 45% from behind the arc.  Idaho was paced by Stephen Madison, KYLE BARONE, and Deremy Geiger.</description>

Idaho trailed by as much as nine in the second half but fought back to take the lead on STEPHEN MADISON'S three-pointer with 26 seconds left in the game, and won when USU's last second three-pointer was off the mark.</description>

      <description>BUOYED BY A 23 POINT PERFORMANCE ON THE ROAD AT LOUISIANA TECH by senior guard DEREMY GEIGER, including 6-of-9 shooting from long range, Idaho beat the Bulldogs 90-88 in OT for their first win in six tries in Ruston.  Idaho shot a staggering 91.7% from the free-throw line, including the final 20 in a row for the win.  Idaho improves to 9-8 (2-1 WAC) on the season and prepares for NMSU Saturday.</description>

      <description>THE VANDALS (6-4) HAVE FOUND A GROOVE, going 2-1 in their last three games with the only blemish a 2-point loss at home to Washington State at the buzzer.  On Friday the Vandals rolled over Oregon State in Corvallis, and Sunday built a 21-point lead over Seattle University in Seattle before cruising to a 73-62 victory.  Idaho gets six days off before hosting Cal State Bakersfield on December 17th.</description>

Friday night, with the Vandals bolting out to an 11-point lead at the half.  Idaho (5-4) would go on to be OSU (6-2) by a final score of 74-60, led by senior guard DEREMY GEIGER'S game- and career-high 27-points on the night.  It was the 173rd meeting between the schools.</description>

      <description>IT IS THE LONGEST RUNNING, CONTINUOUS RIVALRY WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER -- the "Battle of the Palouse" between the University of Idaho and Washington State University.  This year marked the 107th meeting between the schools, and the game was a gem despite the Cougs hitting a buzzer beater for the 66-64 victory.  WSU holds a 160-107 advantage in the series, and has won the last nine matchups.</description>
