Rich Ellerson opened this week past week having no practice on Monday as all West Point cadets started class. While the off day was planned well in advance you wouldn't blame Ellerson if he stopped practice just to end the rash of players being hurt.
Charlotte Combine Interview: Jon Crucitti

Jon Crucitti is not the biggest or fastest guy on the field at any time, but he more than makes up for it with his heart and awareness on the field. He knows his assignment as well as all of his teammates which makes up for his lack of top end speed. Crucitti could very well make it on a Division I roster as a slot receiver or quite possibly a smaller split end.

Crucitti Talks New Role, Favorites

The West Rowan (NC) Falcons lost some very important pieces off of last year's state championship squad, most notably Safeties Marco Gupton and Austin Greenwood, two of the team's undeniable leaders. But the cupboard is not entirely bare, as they currently sport two of the top players in the state in RB Kevin Parks and DE Chris Smith. And yet the X-Factor is someone altogether different.
