UCF Tops Taylor's List

UCF received a commitment last month from Corey Ammons, an Archbishop Carroll (Florida) cornerback. Now the Knights will turn their attention to Ammon’s teammate, Terrance Taylor. Taylor is one of the most talented safeties in Miami, which is saying a lot, and the Knights currently top his list as the team he would most like to play for at the next level.

UCF's Archbishop Carroll Connection

In early June, UCF received its second commitment of the 2009 class in the person of defensive back Corey Ammons. The defensive back from Archbishop Carroll H.S. (Florida) offers good size (6’0”, 180 lbs.) and also runs a legit 4.5 40-yard dash. The Knights are pleased to have a player on Ammons’ caliber onboard, but he is just one of three players from Archbishop Carroll that UCF has its eye on.

Recruiting the South

A quick look at UCF’s schedule this season and it become quite evident that George O’Leary is working furiously to establish a recruiting pipeline in some of the most talent rich areas in the nation. The Knights received their second verbal commitment of the 2008 class earlier this month from Corey Ammons of Archbishop Carroll H.S in Miami.
