      <description>GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The Indians have their entire 40-man roster under contract for 2011. They signed Carlos Santana, Josh Tomlin and Jeanmar Gomez on Friday to one-year contracts. The team also sent eight players to the minors: left-handers Drew Pomeranz, Nick Hagadone and Kelvin De La Cruz, right-handers Corey Kluber, Hector Rondon and Bryce Stowell, catcher Chun Chen and infielder Jared Goedert.</description>

      <description>Right-hander Josh Judy and four other minor-leaguers were added to the Cleveland Indians' 40-man roster on Friday. Infielder Jared Goedert, lefty Nick Hagadone and right-handers Corey Kluber and Zach McAllister also were added -- thereby protecting them all from being selected in the upcoming Rule 5 draft. The Indians hope a number of others in the minor-league organization slip past that process.</description>
