Could an offer be close of Walters?

After signing day earlier this month, there were several talented players still waiting for that first offer and one player that might be hearing something soon is Cerritos CB B.G. Walters (5-10, 185). He’d been hearing from several schools, but they decided to go in different directions so now, its’ the waiting game. Walters spoke with JCFootball.com recently and he updated us on his situation.

Walters set to talk to coaches

One of the top shut-down corners in the California JC ranks the past two years has been Cerritos CB B.G. Walters (5-9, 185). He's been getting some tepid interest from several BCS schools, but things will pick up later this week and over the next few weeks as coaches from four-year schools make their way to campus to visit with Walters and he's hoping to get some offers after thos discussions.

Walters is a lock-down corner

One of the top performers at the SoCal JCFootball.com combine this year was Cerritos CB Smith “B.G.” Walters (5-9, 175). He came to southern California from Florida and even though he might be slight in stature, he’s proven to be a physical, shut-down corner. We spoke to him recently and he talked about his journey west and what he loves to do on the football field.
