<title>Glenn Foster "Took One For The Team"</title>
<description>Last year, the Fighting Illini football team had a superstar defensive end in Whitney Mercilus, who is now poised to be a high NFL draft choice. But part of why he found openings for his numerous sacks was the play of tackle Glenn Foster. The undersized Foster sacrificed personal glory to help the team, and he is now ready for some of his own limelight.

      <title>Versatility A Plus For Glenn Foster</title>
<description>Every football season, players rise up and perform far beyond their previous level. One of the biggest surprises for the Fighting Illini this summer was the improvement in defensive lineman Glenn Foster. He prefers defensive end, but he gladly plays inside when needed. He played tackle much of the Arkansas State game and improved the pass rush as a result.

<title>Glenn Foster Ready To Rumble After Sack</title>
<description>The Fighting Illini football team is playing well this year, especially the defense. It is much improved over recent seasons despite not having great depth at most positions. One play in the second half of the Penn State game may have helped provide additional depth at defensive tackle. Glenn Foster got his first Illini sack, and he is now hungry for more.

<title>Glenn Foster Shows DT Potential In Spring</title>
<description>With upcoming senior Josh Brent unable to participate in spring ball, defensive tackle depth became a concern. To bolster the two positions, upcoming sophomore Glenn Foster was moved from end. Although undersized, Foster began to assert himself as spring ball continued. He gave Illini coaches and fans hope for the future.

<title>Glenn Foster Competing For Playing Time</title>
<description>One of the greatest pleasures of interviewing members of the Fighting Illini football team is getting to know them personally. Wearing full gear, football players can remain anonymous to the general public, especially when they aren't regulars. But when players like freshman Glenn Foster make a positive impression, you realize the value of getting to know them better.</description>
